Kelsea is my sister-in-law's little sister. She has struggled with health problems her whole life and has even bigger challenges coming. Her family is currently waiting to get her a new liver. As you all know the medical system is this country can be very expensive. They are taking donations to cover the cost of time away from work to care for her after the transplant. They have made all the sacrifices they can but it's just not enough.

I know Kelsea probably isn't in your "monkeysphere", but she's in mine (you'll want to look that up on your own). My hope is that only being one step removed from her is close enough that you can part with that 5 bucks you were going to spend on a new app for your iPhone or 20 bucks you were just going to just eat at a fancy restaurant vs making a nice meal at home.

I thought I should share this news story I found!

After 5 months of waiting to start my new engineering position I finally get to start next monday!

Yep, my days of wearing that lovely light blue shirt have come to an end. I will definately miss the people, but glad I'm done with all the measuring and counting! Still working for Harkins means I get to go see my extended family at Metro and of course the free movies.

I took some pictures over the time that I thought I was leaving... (nearly 3 months) so I'll add those soon.

Kelley & Mike had their house warming party last weekend. I think everyone had a really great time!

They've really put together an amazing house. Despite stories of clashing on what looks good and what doesn't, everything works together beautifully. I got to pass the camera around to get some candid shots.

They're also getting married on Dec 31st. You can find their contact info on their site dedicated to the wedding at www.kelleyandmike.net. Wonder who got to pick Kelley as the first part of the domain name... Bet there's a good story there!

Tyler has put up most of the outside decorations. Although I hear there is still more to come...! I took a few quick shots when I got home this morning. I didn't even really go over them to touch them up but you can see them all in the gallery.

Well, trying to get every last nickle out of new car buyers didn't seem to sit to well with me. After to long between jobs I've hired on with Harkin's Theatres again. Yeah, free movies. hehe

I forgot how much walking this job is. It's been a week and a half and after a day off or two, I'm in a little less pain.

Anyhow, it's all coming back to me. I hope to fasttrack promotions and get relocated back to this side of town so I don't have to drive so far.
